Seminar Character Building @ NFF |
During the Dutch Film Festival, on
Tuesday the 29th of September, the NLGD Foundation and Submarine will
hold a free seminar on character building for the game- and film
industry from 15:00 till 17:00. Afterwards there will be a reception to get acquainted with the
speakers and exchange thoughts on the subject.
Each year the town of Utrecht is the host of the Dutch Film Festival which covers all aspects of Dutch cinematics. During the Festival, on Tuesday the 29th of September, the NLGD Foundation and Submarine will hold a free seminar on character building for the game- and film industry from 15:00 till 17:00. Ever wondered how a character or ‘hero’ in a game or movie is built? And is it possible for that particular character to make the jump from console to the silver screen and vice versa? What are the similarities and differences in creating a game character in comparison with that of a movie hero? And what possibilities are there for a cooperation between the two industries? This and many more questions will be the main theme for the seminar. Afterwards there will be a reception to get acquainted with the speakers and exchange thoughts on the subject.
